About

I am an AV Production and Digital & Interactive Media at Judson High School in San Antonio. In addition to teaching, I am the Assistant Supervisor for the Judson District Media Crew that films and broadcasts the district football games. Previous to teaching, I have 10 years experience as a computer technician and eight years of experience in banking and finance.

I have a Masters in Educational Technology concentrating on innovative and emerging technology merges with curriculum to engage student learning and how student interaction with technology can be an asset to the learning process. My passion involves working toward utilizing tools in the classroom that enhance the learning process. I have worked with teachers to integrate technology into their curriculum and have found that using the models of technology integration in my own classroom has prepared students for professional success. In addition to integrating technology in the classroom at various educational levels, I have researched learner needs and the implementation of technology into the learning process. Technology is a tool that should not be overlooked in this digital age of learning. As part of my ongoing educational process, I have completed Intel’s Master Teacher course for 21st Century Education Essentials Tools.
